The title of wp125 can be changed in the settings of the plugin (ads - settings). You can't insert the wp125 into a page, so it got to be added to a widget area. There are other ad plugins that can be added to pages though, with a shortcode (f.ex Advertising Manager).

The bfpage shortcode inserts a page inside a another page (or post). This can be handy if you want to include the same content many places, like ads or signatures.

However, if I were to add image ads into a one page I would upload the images and insert them into the page editor. What kind of ads are you going to add? If it is from an ad network I recommend to use the "Advertising Manager" plugin, if it's just a banner, no plugin is needed.

Thanks. I'm confused...I don't understand how you "add the ad to the page". I read about the bfpage widget/plugin but didn't/don't understand. What I'm trying to do is to keep the Ads plugin that you have on the demo in the side bar -- the four image boxes -- in the side bar, but I'd like to add it to the frontpage3 on the bottom. So it would be on the sidebar for pages using the sidebar but on the bottom for the frontpage3 only. I added it via widgets using the wp125 plugin (added it to the bottom of the page), but now it's on the bottom of every page. Am I just making you more confused?

you can use the bfpage shortcode to insert ads into pages.

1. Create a page. Add the ad to the page. IF it is adsense paste it in html view. If it's a banner, upload the image and insert it into the editor and wrap a link around it.

2. Add this anywhere in the page: [bfpage id="32"] (where the number is the id of the page Found when editing the page, it's the last numbers in the url (page=32)).

I answered the dropdown question on Themeforest.

How do I add the Ads widget to frontpage3? Also, I need it to say "Sponsors" not "Ads".
How do I set up drop downs for top nav?

By the way: I discovered, that this is not a problem of the child theme!!

use the normal Bigfeature-Theme without childtheme and choose "boxes" in navigation style: all navigation items with sub-menu levels have a lower box height than the other items with no sub-level!

Hi,

does anybody use the new child theme "bfwide" (http://www.vfxdude.com/downloads/), too?

It works fine, but if the navigation (set to "boxes") has a sub-menu, the border/the box of this navigation item has not the height of the other boxes:

http://i45.tinypic.com/2lwafk5.jpg

Everywhere, where there's a sub-menu (see the arrow beside the navigation item!), the box of this item is smaller.

Firebug wasn't a help for this :-(

Thanks for any idea.

Since I prefer one question per topic I changed the title, but will answer them all. The point with a forum is for other users to join in, that is hard if there are so many different questions in one post.

Anyway...Since I changed the title I will answer the ad question first then.

If a plugin got shortcodes, ads can be added to any of the widget areas called Adspaces (with the "BF Page" widget). There is one called "Adspace - Below the article". That one will display ads below the first article on the frontpage and below every article on the single/article page. If the plugin doesn't have a shortcode you can use hooks, like this:

function my_ads() {
wpads(’Test Zone’);
}
add_action('bf_after_article','my_ads', 9);

Add this code in function.php (preferably in a child theme).

The first question is not specific to the theme, since it can be done with css. A tip is to use absolute positioning.

About the dropdown menu appearing below flash...will look into this issue...

btw I think your english is good...it's not my first language either...

I have a few questions:

1.- Instead of having a small logo, I added a big header image. How can I add the search box above the header image. I mean, I've seen sites where the search box appears inside the header image, in the right corner. How can I do that?

2.- How can I rotate ads below the articles? I have more than one banner/amazon widget but I can only use one. I tried a plugin called Wp-Ads but doesn't show anything. So, is there a way to have several ads rotate below the article" so everytime someone loads the website they see a different ad?

3.- The dropdown option on the nav bar is awesome, but if the list is too large, and I have a YouTube video posted on the first post, the dropdown list gets hidden behind the youtube video (or any other flash object for that matter). The solution I need is something similar to the subscribe/share buttons under every post on my website, if you click on it the flash objects dissapear while using that dropmenu. Check it out and you'll see what I mean.

My website is http://the-visitors.net

Thanks for your help, looking forward to your response :)

PS: sorry about my English, it's not my first language :(
