Hello,
I'm using BFNav child theme and It's really working great, but I'm trying to resize the main nav with the header image to fit the mini nav that comes with BFNav

you can see it here http://www.keygraphy.com

I just wanted to cancel the white space on the left if it's possible, thanks.

I'm having a real hard time trying to figure this one out. I even asked my friend which is like a master at coding websites.. but said he never done multiple background images, so I'm hoping you can help me out here VFXDUDE.

I'm using the BFNAV child theme.

So basically I'm trying to have a image on top of the page and a image on the bottom as well. So far I am only able to get the top image to work.. but not the bottom.

So this is the working code for the top image:

body { background: #fff url(http://nerwinator.com/wp-content/themes/bfnav/images/texture7.jpg) repeat-x; }

I tried it this way to get the bottom image to show up and it just didn't work:

body {background: #fff url(http://nerwinator.com/wp-content/themes/bfnav/images/texture7.jpg) center top repeat-x, url(http://nerwinator.com/wp-content/themes/bfnav/images/texture7_bottom.jpg) center bottom repeat-x; }

so I'm not sure why it isn't working and hopefully you can help me out to get it to work, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

First, thanks for the brilliant theme.

I am using BFnav child theme and would like to align the widget title text to the right. If you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Many thanks.

Hi, I'm using the BFNav theme and removed the searchfield according to your instructions in the functions.php.

The menu looks fine in other browsers (also IE8), but in IE7 the menu-topics show right alligned and one below the other:
http://api.browsershots.org/png/original/be/bea0fb4915e63c670dbdac345aa2c806.png

Do you know any fix for that? This would be great.

I test Wordpress 3.1 with Bigfeature 1.4.0.3 and BFNav 1.0.5.

Although I have added the BF-widgets to the "main sidebar", it shows the widgets only at the very bottom of the blog page instead of the sidebar at the right:

ok, I have deleted most of my questions, that I had here before, because I have solved them after many hours of try&error.
Upgrading is a horror :-(

Still one question remains:

showing the "BF recent posts" in sidebar: these posts have in sidebar no longer images.

The posts itself do have images, inserted with Wordpress 3.0.1 feature "thumbnail", but "BF Recent Posts" widget in sidebar does not show them (but these images are shown at frontpage for the last 3 posts!!!):

With previous version of Bigfeature and BFnav the "recent post images" in sidebar have been shown!

I use the child theme BFnav 1.0.3 and Bigfeature 1.4.0.2.

Any idea?
Thanks.

Hi!

I tried using firebug but still can't figure it out - what are the CSS tags for the colors of the navigation bar text, and the child menu color text?

Right now, it's showing dark grey bar, with light grey text, and the menu is white with grey text. I don't know the css style tags that modifies it, or if it's even possible since it's cufont generated.

I'm using the bfnav child theme.

I am stuck. In BFWide/BFNav, I get to this part:
4. Create a new navigation called Topnav. Add categories (or whatever you want) to the navigation.

How do I create the new navigation?

I want my navigation bar to look like this, with the search bar included:

Sup vfxdude,

So I searched the forums and found other people with similar problems, but running older versions—and I didn't find a solution.

Whenever i update a page, the page's parent disappears from my TopNav. I have to go Theme Settings>Navigation and drag/drop the parent back into the TopNav area every single time I update any page. This becomes extremely annoying and tedious!! I'm wasting a ton of time having to constantly do this.

I am running BF v1.3.5.1, WP V2.9.2 and running a child css theme (that literally only has a custom body bg and dropcap).

Thanks,
Adrian

Hi Roger,

I am playing with the alignment of the search box and am having trouble getting it to respond to the commands.
This is how my page currently appears: http://ecoburst.net/imgs/navqu.jpg

What I would like to do is have the search box on the very right of the screen, that is, after the text.

My code looks like this:

#topheader ul.navigation.navsimple li.last a { border-right: none; }
#headerstuff { padding: 0 50px; }
#top .inside { background-color:#fff; padding: 18px 0; border-top: 1px solid #ccc; border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc; border-right: 1px solid #999; border-left: 1px solid #999; }
#top ul.navigation { width: auto; margin: 5px 0 0 50px; float:right; margin-right: 350px; }
#top ul.navigation a { color: #aaa; }
ul.navigation.navsmall li a { border-right: 1px solid #999; }
#searchcontainer { float:right; margin-right: 50x;}
#searchcontainer .searchicon { margin: 3px 0 0 3px; }
#searchcontainer .searchbox { height: 22px; background-color: #ccc; border:none; }
.searchform .searchfield { padding: 2px; background-color: #ccc; }

I've tried researching this problem on the net and through this forum, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks,
