----- moved from here: http://themeforest.net/item/bigfeature-wordpress-theme/discussion/51702

Hello! I just bought your beautiful theme for my blog. I state that I am no expert, but I think I managed to set it.

I still have some doubts.

1) I have seen the site you have made ??available to us with documentation, very well done. There are some very nice page templates. I would like to know if there are other templates for the blog page. They are really convenient for those who do not know HTML . for example i used some template you give us free for two of my pages – http://www.novarchitectura.com/architettura-interiore/ – http://www.novarchitectura.com/presentazione/

but i need more :D

2) I have seen many blogs that use this theme and i had some questions - How do I get a footer like this: http://artlemon.de/ - How can I have a nav bar like this: http://illusiodesign.com/

there are plugins or widgets that you can recommend? Where can I find it?

3) I would like to know if in the contact page I can insert a google map and how to do.

Thanks for your help

my homepage is: http://www.novarchitectura.com/

So I enabled the comment icon and its acting a little weird. On the front page it looks normal, but when I go to the next page and so it, it displays strange. Shows "0 Comments" instead of just "0" or what the number of comments are. Is there a way to fix this easily?

I have been using this theme for a while, but are making some changes now. I'm having a problem getting the photoblog template to work for my blog section. I would like the photo on the one side with text on the other, without a sidebar. I would like all blog posts to show here, but at the moment there are no default images showing. Any tips to get this to work will be hugely appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hello,

I am working on a site http://www.dionevanslive.com/ojb and there is a section that says blog topics at the bottom. I know the bfthumbs code, but it only pulls from one category. I want to be able to have a categories show up side by side and an associated image with the category it pulls. I also do not want that thumbnail to be 255 x 100 as the others are, I want it to be 100 x 100 for each 6 thumbnails side by side. Thank you!

Ok... not sure how possible this is... but is is possible to have for example.... In Navigation, under my MAIN BLOG, a parent page? But on THAT specific page only have posts of a specific category? For example have a page only show posts categorized under "cooking" ? Does that make sense? Thank you in advance!

Hi,

just saw again your demo blog here:
http://www.vfxdude.com/testblog/2010/09/01/post-11/
with the Facebook and Twitter icon there.

Is this feature new, I can't remember to have it seen within Bigfeature settings, or have you used plugins?

Hi there,

I have used your theme here: http://www.pixelnourish.com and I'm having trouble understanding why the intro image isn't working on my blog (www.pixelnourish.com/blog). The first post, the image is simply coded into the post, but the 4 other posts after it should have large "intro" images.

I also don't seem to be able to change the template for this page - it seems to be "stuck" on this specific layout (for example, I can't make it the archives, no page, etc templates).

Thank you in advance for your response.

I'm feeling dumb. I've got my posts categorized by thinks like "Portfolio," "Design," "Blog" etc., but ALL of the posts are going into the blog and when you say "create a category" to restrict them I'm unclear what you mean since I've already categorized them. Suggestions please? (LOVE your hard work on this theme.)

Is there a way to add Categories, Recent posts, etc to the blog sidebar only and not have that info show up on the sidebar of the default template pages I created? I don't want to set the pages I created to "no sidebar" because I'd like the Ads widget to show on all pages, but that's all. Here's what I mean. I'd like the ads widget only to show on the sidebar of this Agenda page but I'd like a bunch of widgets to show on the sidebar of the blog page. Does that makes sense?

Thanks so much in advance!

I have enabled the "Enable the Feature Image for posts" and disabled "Enable thumbnails posts for the blog".

I would like to show the big feature images of a post only then, when reading this special post.

But when I click on "Blog", I would like to show only the small version of the post's image, not the big feature image, that goes over 2 columns.

In the left column of the blog's page should be one after another the posts with their images, and on the right side of the blog's page the sidebar and its widgets.

Should look like your example here:

http://www.vfxdude.com/bigfeature/category/documentation/

But is it possible to have the big feature image in the post (over the whole width of the page), but at the blog page this image should only be as wide as the text (-column)?

Thanks.
