any styles can be overridden. I would override the wp e-commerce button style with another in a child theme, just by copying the styles in Firebug. I'm going to create a wp e-commerce child theme, and then I will investigate other solutions, like using the shortcodes instead.

btw, the bfthumbs shortcode can be used to list products, and in the bfthumbs layout there is a plugin node that can show the price and also add a "add to cart" button, and the readmore button can also have some button styles. To use bfthumbs with WP e-Commerce just add a post_type=”wpsc-product” and a category parameter to show a product category listing. Then add the add the price and add to cart button in the bfthumbs layout (plugin node).

what buttons? you need to be more specific? you can change any styles in wp e-commerce with css though. I recommend to install a child theme (use bfBlank if not using one already) and add the css there (use Firebug to find what to override).

you can add this to style.css:

table.aligncenter {
	display: table;
	margin-left: auto;
	margin-right: auto;
}

and then the table will center by adding the aligncenter class like this:

<table class="tablestyle2 aligncenter" border="1">

Thanks Nephilim :) My custom.css-file is a bit messed up with stuff I am or have been testing, so I advice you to use FireFox in conjunction with Firebug, as this is way better to get a good overlook over the CSS-formating of my page.

As for the php, I've only altered the functions.php-file in the bfarea child theme by moving the navbar to the top of the page.

If you've got some specific questions about my page I will answear to the best of my ability.

use one of the child themes (bfwide or bfarea) and modify the css. With the child themes you can create custom header functions and add searchfield or whatever. This requires some php knowledge though (just checkout the functions.php of the child themes available).

And let me add a third one:

I'm playing around with the tabs css since I want to use them as a simple language switcher solution for my posts - but I've got a problem with them "jumping" over another as soon as the default one isn't the active one anymore. You can see what I mean here. How can I keep them from changing positions once klicked?

Hey there, I have two issues:

1. I had someone tweak some of my css files in my WordPress files and now my admin area looks like this:

Where can I change this back to something readable, like a white background?

2. After upgrading Big Feature I now want to re-import the settings which I exported before but upon pressing "upload" I get a "You don't have sufficient rights..." thingy. Why's that and how can I change it so that I can import my settings?

Thanks! :)

Okay, I found it - if anyone else has this issue. I was able to change the alignment in wp-includes/media.php

Hi,

I inserted a Wordpress gallery today and it's not aligning properly with the rest of the page. I want to move it to the left, but when I looked at the CSS I'm seeing it's being controlled in Embedded Styles. How do I access Embedded Styles to change this?

Here's the code as it is now:

#gallery-1 {
margin: auto;
}
#gallery-1 .gallery-item {
float: left;
margin-top: 10px;
text-align: center;
width: 50%;
}
#gallery-1 img {
border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;
}
#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {
margin-left: 0;
}
