this sounds strange. could be a plugin. deactivate all plugins to see if this changes anything, and activate one by one if it does to find the problem plugin. If you want further assistance email me the wp user with admin rights with the themeforest contact form (on my profile page).

Nope! I didn't have it on a widget at all. I removed the about page all together in attempt to solve the problem. No luck.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the theme. Even included your XML file. But again, no luck.
The URL is: http://newblackid.com/
My email is itoldyousohaha at gmail dot com
If it looks like you're going to need admin status, please just email me and I'll set it up. Sorry, don't have your addy.
Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, a million times!

this is the about page that comes with a fresh wordpress install. Have you added it to widget areas with the BF Page widget? Remove all widgets from the adspaces to see if it goes away. If not, you can email me a url or create a wp user (admin rights).

Hi,
Love the theme.
One issue - every time I select "show slogan" or use a single template I get the following default text appearing at the bottom or top of my blog:
"This is an example of a WordPress page, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many pages like this one or sub-pages as you like and manage all of your content inside of WordPress."

Not sure how or why this is happening. I'd like to continue using this theme as I love it, BUT... I need to get this fixed.
Thanks much!

you can disable comments from the wordpress settings by unchecking the "Allow people to post comments on new articles" in settings - discussion. The "Comments are closed" text can be removed from comments.php.

I am dreading to launch a blog with 0 comments on every post.

Is there any quick way to disable comments?

I don't want to use the feature under posts because it gives an impression as though the comments have just closed for a particular post.

Any less code advice as possible will be appreciated.

If you remove optionsstyles.php, the theme settings will not work. You can hardcode these into style.css of course (or in a childtheme).

If this error message appear after customizations you might have to redo stuff from the ground up to see what change causes this problem...
