hard to say. I don't think this is theme related though. Probably caused by a plugin, like explained here.

Wow - fantastic! I can't believe how easy that was to change. I have wasted literally days of my time trying to figure out how to get rid of that comments off line. I hope I haven't messed anything up by deleting all of the comments.php information that I deleted.... Thank you so very much!!!! Phyllis

you can set a post as sticky and it will remain at the top, but if you just want an image there, you can create a page and insert the image into it and use the BF Page widget to add the page to the "Adspace - Blog home below nav" widget area. This info is also in the FAQ.

this is thumb posts (enabled with the "Show older posts on the blog frontpage as thumbnail posts" setting), and then it's a different setting. Uncheck the "Show Meta info for Thumbnail posts" setting under the "Thumbnail Posts" section.

Btw, you can also use bfthumbs for the blog frontpage with the new shortcode template system and then you can easily add, remove and modify any parts of the thumb post.

this sounds strange. could be a plugin. deactivate all plugins to see if this changes anything, and activate one by one if it does to find the problem plugin. If you want further assistance email me the wp user with admin rights with the themeforest contact form (on my profile page).

Hi,
Love the theme.
One issue - every time I select "show slogan" or use a single template I get the following default text appearing at the bottom or top of my blog:
"This is an example of a WordPress page, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many pages like this one or sub-pages as you like and manage all of your content inside of WordPress."

Not sure how or why this is happening. I'd like to continue using this theme as I love it, BUT... I need to get this fixed.
Thanks much!

Is there any quick way to disable comments?
