Since there is already a default post image set as "post thumbnail" is overriden by that one. You have to remove the url (or set is as not default in the uploader first). It would probably make sense to make the "post thumbnail" override the other one set though, so I will change that. btw, in WP3.0 they have renamed the "post thumbnail" to "feature image", which makes more sense.</p> <p>Are you using that shortcode for the thumb posts on the frontpage?
