I've been using BF 1.4.2.2 + Topart with WP 3.4.1 -- one live site and another I'm working on to replace 2010 theme with BF.

I haven't seen any problems.

I'm using WPML together with BigFeature. Does anyone know how to swtich the background image of a site when swtiching the language from one language to another?

I can probalby use WPML String Translation in some way by modifying the wpml-config.xml file? But, I can't figure out what's the BigFeature label related to the background image...

Another way could probably be to add some PHP code to the PHP file where the background image is specified, but I can't figure ut where this is done.

There is also some background image settings in the CSS files related to the BigFeature theme, but these settings seems to be overrided by the settings done from the BigFeature admin panel settings... At least the background imeage specified in my CSS file is not the same as the current background image.

you need to upgrade the theme too (not only wordpress). You are using version 1.4.0.2 and the newest version is 1.4.2. Here's how to upgrade.

ChrisGallagher, I found the problem with the background uploader, and now there is a new version of the theme available where this is fixed.

arothafel, this is not related to wp3.3 as far as I can see, it's working as it should. The theme settings styles overrides the default styles, and setting the font-weight to normal when using cufon for the navigaton. You can add this css to the bfBlank style.css to set it back to bold:

ul.navigation li a { font-weight: bold; }

Another tip is to enable the "Cache the settings stylesheet" theme setting (make sure it's written to the library/css folder. might have to make it writable).

Looks like W3 Total Cache plugin conflicts with the theme navigation text. When I activate the W3TC plugin, my navigation text (and dropdowns) go from bold to light (normal). When I deactivate W3TC everything returns to normal.

The site was running just fine before the upgrade to 3.3. I am using a child theme bf_blank.

My background image doesn't show up now after upgrading to wp 3.3. I am a new user to wp - and am using wamp server locally while I build my site. Are you going to release a fix for this? Also where in my style.css should I place the code "body { background: #292929 url(http://www.mystite.com/bg.jpg) repeat; }" to get back my background image?

Seem to have some background trouble, too.
I just have upgraded to wp 3.3. Usually I have a white background.

Now it's set to #EDEEEF.

I tried to play with the background setting tools in the backend. Nothing happend.
Then I tried my luck (it's luck not knowledge in my case ;-) with the style.css, does not work or precisely can not notice any changes...

c-r-u-x, I guess it's the same as here. The wp background image uploader is probably changed, and the background image must be added with css instead. You can just upload the image in the media library, and copy the image url and then add css like this in style.css:

body { background: #292929 url(http://www.mystite.com/bg.jpg) repeat; }

My background image doesn't show up now!
My site is http://www.c-r-u-x.de and there should be (and has been) a 1920x1200 background image. Instead it's just all #1f1f1f now.

Seems like more people and themes have this problem ( http://wordpress.org/support/topic/background-image-wont-show-up-1 , http://wordpress.org/support/topic/background-image-doesnt-work-in-33 ). How can I fix this - or can you release a hotfix?

fixed some cosmetic issues in the theme settings now.

I have upgraded, and it seems fine. Have not done an extensive test though.
