I tested the bfslider with nextgen now, and it worked, using this shortcode:

[bfslider name="gallery1" type="nextgen" height="320"]

And adding images to gallery1 in nextgen (newest plugin version).

You can test the awshowcase plugin instead, since it also resizes the images to the slider container:

[awshowcase sid="awshowcase-nextgen" name="gallery1" width="848" height="400" type="nextgen"]

btw, you have a whole bunch of network errors, caused by trying to load google fonts that dont exists.

and I recommend to deactivate the "Comment Icon" in the "Post Meta Information" section in the theme settings, since disqus is adding text to it.

Ok I seem to be having the same issue. I have used the code on the most recent version of WP with the most recent version of the nextgen plug in and the only thing that displays is the navigation arrows no images. I tried switching to the news slider and that worked fine so its definitely something related to nextgen.

I tested this excact shortcode now (because I already had a gallery called gallery1), with WP3.1 and the latest version of nextgen and it works fine. I don't think this is a javascript problem. Check that you have a nextgen gallery called gallery1, because this is most likely the problem.

I'm trying to add the BF slider to my home page layout and have set up a NextGen gallery of photos to use. I can see the slider arrows, but no images. Here is the link: http://madhatterdesigncompany.com/bluesound/

Any idea what could be causing this? Do you need more information from me? I tried deactivating all plugins and that did not help.
