Thanks so much vfxdude....

I was even more confused as the theme is definitely activated... BUT... it probably did not appear so due to W3Total Cache and CDN settings. I'm just learning that protocol as well.

As soon as I deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin, the child theme made the revisions.

No doubt this is my learning curve, but just to be sure... there are no incompatibilities with W3 Total Cache and BigFeature... right?

Thanks again... and yes all the Tutorials you provide are very helpful. A quickie on Firebug and Child themes would be well received, I'm sure.

you have not activated the child theme (it is installed and activated just like any theme). That css should work.

I probably should make a video tutorial about child themes and firebug...

I am using Big Feature 1.4.0.4 with the Child Theme: bfBlank 1.0

Seems no matter what I do, the child theme is not making the adjustments. Perhaps my css inserts are bad?

I am trying to reduce the nav bar margins to tighten everything up - especially the slider closer to the nav bar.

http://wmu101.com

I input the following:

ul.navigation { margin-top: 0; }
ul.navigation { margin-bottom: 0; }
#header { margin-bottom: 0; }

... but nothing happened.

I am just learning Firebug.. so perhaps I'll get better at this...

Any help from anybody is much appreciated.
