many shortcodes use this hook. bfslider, galleria, nivoslider, awshowcase, tabs, toggle, bfthumbs.

Ah, makes sense... Would this then theoretically apply to all shortcodes? Columns are working fine, and other shortcodes - it's only the toggle that doesn't.

you have most likely removed the wp_footer hook in footer.php. It needs to be there for scripts to be loaded. It should be like this:

I'm using BF Blank with some modifications to the original Big Feature theme.
For some reason, I can't get the toggle function to work... I've tried deactivating all plugins, I've tried simple toggles vs more complex ones - none of them drop down (the + sign shows, and the title, but no content).

The template version isn't at the latest - so I'm guessing it might be that? Is there a simple update to the theme files that would fix this, or should I go the whole hog and update the whole theme? I've done quite a bit of customisation in both stylesheet and php files (bit of a hack job, I'm afraid - I'm no php expert) so would rather change one file and not all of them, but will if that's the only way!
