			<description>&#60;p&#62;When upgrading you overwrite all the files, so changes get lost. The solution is to create a &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.vfxdude.com/bigfeature/2009/10/faq/#childtheme&#34;&#62;child theme&#60;/a&#62;, then all the changes will be protected. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;style.css and functions.php will not override the parent theme (just add to it), but if any template files is added to the child theme there might be upgrading issues, but those can be updated if necessary.

&#60;p&#62;Since I want to use the cufon font for header of the sidebar widgets and also have problems with the portfolio articles showing up in the &#38;quot;normal&#38;quot; blog section I&#38;#39;m interested in the new version 1.3. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But will the installation of this new version delete all the changes I&#38;#39;ve already made in the CSS-file and the other php-templates? What can I do to keep these files and get the improvements as well?
