Hi all,

First all, I love this theme! Great work!

I am messing around some with the BFSlider. I am not sure if what I want to do is possible, but basically I want to show both video thumbs and post images from the blog. Here is the code I am using:

[bfslider type="news" numposts="5" imagesize="normal" numwords="40" height="400" imagewidth="500" imageheight="220" bgcolor="#666" color="#fff" numeric="true" auto="false"]

I am not sure where I am going wrong here. It only shows the past two posts with videos. There is a post with an image in between the two video posts but it skips over that post. It also shows the video in the slider not a thumb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you can enable the "Show default images in the slider instead of videos" theme setting to only show images instead of videos. Not sure why the post is skipped though.

When I check "Show default images in the slider instead of videos" nothing shows up at all in the slider.

Is it possible to have images AND videos (or images of videos i.e.; thumbs) in the slider? Or can they only be all videos or all images? This is my front page:

Nothing at all? no text, no slides?

You have to have add an image with one of these methods ("Thumbnail image URL" will work).

There's a bug with the "Show default images in the slider instead of videos" functionality that is fixed in the coming version. It hides the videos from the blog too, so basically this is useless as it is now. A workaround is to add a video embed/shortcode to the "feature html" input field below the post editor, then the video will only show up on single post pages.
