   BigFeature has been great for my website, definitely the BEST theme I've used.

   Lately I've begun to use W3TC cache plug-in and a CDN using Amazon's CloudFront. Everything works nicely. I'm just asking if it would be possible to recode the theme so that the timthumb images can be cached.

   timthumb images are cached, but not on a fast CDN server though. You can add the image url to the cdn image and timthumb will be skipped though...and add a separate one for the thumbnails in the "Thumbnail image URL" input field.

   Thanks for the reply. Are you saying to manually create the thumbnail image URL and specify it on the "Thumbnail Image URL" input field?

   I'm interested in this too... but we will need to take care of the post image (528px) and post thumbnails too for the recent and related post at the bottom of each post or in the main loop if you choose to show them as thumbs.

   An automatic solutions is will be best here - especially if one have many blog posts already :-)

   headfonia, yes.

   ronenbekerman, if you post a thumb image to the "Thumbnail Image URL", then you have the thumb posts covered. For the 528px (content width) images on the frontpage of the blog, there the feature size images will be used. I could add a additional image url field for those too though. Automatic is best, but if you have to upload the images to an external server, how automatic can it be. You can use an uploaded image for the thumb posts though. Add a local uploaded url to the "Thumbnail Image URL" (it then will use timthumb) and an external for the feature and content width images.
