Is there a way to make the drop-down menu (preferably the NavBar) cells to align horizontally under the menu bar, instead of being displayed in a vertical list?
Searched the forums, with no good results.

hi vfxdude, This will be VERY helpful.....
Thanks for this help vfxdude!
However, I have one problem. Take a look at http://www.wowocom.com/site
I want the nav-bar submenu to always be displayed, as in the superfish example menu. Now it dissappears when not hovering over the submenu LI items.
What should I change to make it stay visible always?
download the superfish package and try to make it work outside of the theme first to see what it takes. Not sure what makes it different, maybe it's the "pathClass: 'current' " that must be added to the navigation call. You can change the call in theme-functions.php, search for "superfish(".
Hmm... The pathClass: 'current' is already there. Could it be as simple as a "display: visible" or "display: hidden" i should add/remove somewhere?
Do you remember anyone doing this before with BigFeature?
nope. I don't have time to investigate it right now, but I will create a child theme with a navigation like this in a month or 2.
