Colour Customisation

So, after some time, I have decided to update my BigFeature to latest 1.4.0.1.

I am really happy with everything but there is one thing I wish to do in near future - perform complete colour customisation of the site!

In other words, I would like to turn original WHITE container into, most probably, dark grey - which again means that current text colour should be light grey...

Now, under theme colour options I can't see CONTAINER colour anywhere!?!?!

My question is - what is the easiest way of changing container colour as well as site text colour?

I heard few things about child theme(s) but really, since I want to change only couple of colours, I hope there is no need to go this route and that there is some simple, straight forward solution...

Hoping for some help with this one!

you do this with css. download the topart childtheme and remove the styles there and add your own. You can skip child theme and add the styles at the bottom of style.css, but child themes are very easy to use, and keeps the customizations safe when upgrading the theme.
