Want to use the plugin contact form 7, however, using it is messing up the footer. It is making the footer smaller and it's not in the correct place.

Noticed, if I put the code

</div>

at the end of the post it fixes the problem with the footer.

are you sure this is caused by contact form 7? I'm not having the same problem. create a new page and only add the contact form shortcode there (in html view of the editor) to see if the same happens.

Yeah, everything seems to be working fine. I'm having an issue with Contact Form 7 actually sending the email. I know this is not your problem, but I'm using Go Daddy and it doesn't seem to like Contact Form 7 or Wordpress sending out emails. Any suggestions?

you can test other contact form plugins, like this one.
