I've been frustrated for hours trying to figure out why the default image does not show. I've watched the tutorials, I've read the documentation, and I've done everything suggested. The default images still do not show on my page. I ran the manual test, and it works, so I know my server is not blocking the script.
Can you please suggest a fix. My deadline is fast approaching to get this website up, so if you can, I could us some help.

Timthumb doesn't like the ~ character in your image url. You can test with
this url instead:
http://ecbiz91.inmotionhosting.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/100_1796-e1277442715409.jpg
If you get a domain name it will work fine though.
I was having a similar problem. I am using this theme on a wordpress mu 3.0 installation and had set the permalinks to a custom structure ..../blog/%postname% which it didn't seem to like. I have changed it to the default and it works now but that means I have the post id and a link name. I will have to see what will work better.
