Hi admin,

I'm currently having a problem with my navigation drop down menu. For some reason, they will not display "above" (hover) over the page headings (h1). Currently, the nav menu will only display properly above images (at the top of posts). To give you a better idea, I've attached a pic.

In the image, Board of Directors is (h1) of the selected page, the dropdown pages hidden by the heading1 are not selectable, I'm using alt navigation style, cufon font replacement, v1.3.5.2

Any ideas?

Edit: In this pic, you can see that it works flawlessly over images in the top of posts.

tested this, and it hovers above cufon headings for me (in all browsers). Do you have a link to the website? The navigation hover got a z-index of 99, so if you have added a higher z-index on the headings, then this is the cause.

Thanks for the feedback admin. I was able to isolate the problem, but not fix it. When I turn off cufon for h1, the dropdown displays properly (hover). I modified a page with h2 at the top and ran into the same problem. So, it only falls behind for cufon replacement of h1 and h2. Any ideas?

would help if you gave me a link. I have seen this before, and it's a z-index problem, could be caused by a plugin. What browser(s) are you testing with?

Click Policies > Roles & Responsibilities (page w/ the longest h1) to see the problem.

I have a similar issue, http://www.shinesf.com the nav sometimes goes behind h2, so i put a photo in, now the drop down goes away when a user tries to navigate down.

I don't even know what a "z-index" is

Since this does not happen to the original theme, it's either caused by a plugin or a modification. Deactivate all plugins to see if it changes, if not, test with an unmodified theme to check that it works.
