First up, Happy New Year!
On a blog post I am trying to set the featured image by selecting the image from a Nextgen gallery.
So:
1. On the blog post, in the Featured Image box, click the "Set featured image" link.
2. Select the "NextGEN Gallery" tab on the popup.
3. Select my gallery in the drop down and click the Select button.
4. Click the "Show" link for the image I want to use.
5. Click the "Use as featured image" link.
6. Close the popup.
The image I selected now display in the Featured Image box on the blog post, however if I view the post the image is not displayed. This sounds exactly the problem described here:

From that post it sounds like the theme itself needs changing? Is this just a problem for me or have I hit an issue?
