Footer repeats on top of page - Safari

I am having problems with my footer, it is appearing at the top of the page between the navigation and main image. This is happening in Chrome and Safari. See below:

Also, please note that the footer also appear correctly at the bottom of the page.

hard to say what's going on with just that picture. a url would be more helpful. or more information....how did you add the footer information? in the theme settings input box? to a widget area? might be an unclosed div or something like that. remove the footer information and add just a short non html text to see if the same happens. can be caused by a plugin too...deactivate all plugins to see if it changes.

I added the footer through the widget area "footer links", using BFWide child theme.

I figured it out. I must have accidentally added the widgets the "adspace top of the page" area at one point.
