How do i remove Search from BFNav theme

How do i remove Search from BFNav theme ? the one with the black bar on top. when I tried in theme appearance setting it only removes the search in the header and not the one with the black bar on top.

I will add the search to the footer instead.

that child theme got a custom header stuff. see functions.php, the function with the search is called topNav.

Thanks for info I can see them in them functions.php , should I just delete the lines( if so what should I delete / disable ) or is there a safer way to disable that feature within the css

remove this line:

<div id="searchcontainer"><?php get_search_form(); ?></div>
