How to create an Author page/profile page for users

Hi there!

I just add the forum plugin MINGLE FORUM. I have tried to install bbpress or others but looks impossible to me. Simple:press is a bit slow and has tones of layout design problems that i couldn´t fix. Anyways, is there a way to create a PROFILE page where users that are registered can go and change their info, password... How to link that page then to other forums´ profile pages?

As you can see, the forum users profile page is the WORDPRESS default one and it is not incorporated in the theme.

I am not familiar with the mingle forum. this forum is using the standalone version of bbpress, I see that there is a plugin available now, haven't tested it though. Simple:press is a very good alternative...you can restyle it if you got the skills (a tip is to use Firebug), or maybe there are stylesheets available to modify? google it.
