IE and opacity in slider

I'm having some trouble with a transparency issue in a page slider I've created on my front page at randallmurrow.com. Everything works fine except in IE; the first slide loads up with correct opacity values (the semi-transparent white background behind the text) but this defaults back to 100% opacity as soon as I click to another slide.

Any ideas?

check the new version of the theme (1.4), I added a class called alpha60 (in style.css) there that got cross browser transparency.

Thanks, just upgraded. Still having issues with IE keeping the opacity from slide to slide, though, so opted to add the transparent blocks directly onto the background images.
