I've followed your instruction on the FAQ page about stopping images linking to themselves, and I've made the change exactly as shown on the single.php:

get_image('feature',false,false,false)

However, when I now click on an image I get this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/catherin/public_html/wp-content/themes/bigfeature/single.php on line 17

Can you help please.

make that line look like this:

if (!get_image('feature',false,false,false)) $postType = 'normal'; ?>

Thank you. I've made the changes as shown.

Only the feature image opens on first click in the shadowbox. All other images open on their own page on first click, and then open in shadowbox with the second click.

Is there any way to change the setting so that all images open in the shadowbox with the first click?

you can change the settings of shadowbox to automatically add the necessary code to your image links. In the "shadwobox js" settings under "Shadowbox Automation" set "Image Links" to true.

I hate to be a pest, but "Image Links" is already set to true.

set the "Link URL" in the uploader to "File url" when inserting the images into the editor.
