Hi, a lot of my site's users will be visiting with their smart phones (iPhone, Droid, etc.) so I'm using the Slider to showcase my products instead of Lightbox (since these phones don't support flash).
As I'm testing the slider on my Droid I'm having a hard time getting the phone's touch screen to click on the Slider's next and back arrows unless I really zoom in, defeating the purpose of seeing the image as I click. So I'd like to increase the clickable link area of the arrows, either by making the negative space around the image larger in the gifs, or increasing the arrow's margins - whatever. I realize this means I'll have to reduce the size of the featured images accordingly.
I've been using Firebug to try and tweak the arrows in the style.css just to make sure I'm able to modify this area and not having any luck. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
Any other tips for designing for smart phones would be really appreciated.
Thank you!
