When I update pages they disappear from the menu. So for example when I update the "About" page the "About" item disappears from the menu, but only when you are at the "About" page. When I go to "News" the "About" item is there. I'm running WordPress 2.9 and the latest version of BigFeature.

are you sure you are using version 1.3.3 if the theme? http://www.vfxdude.com/forum/topic/menu-issues-whenever-a-menu-page-is-updated-it-disappears-from-the-top-menu

Ya, I noticed that post but I'm almost 100% sure I'm running the newest version. I re-downloaded the theme from ThemeForest to make sure I had the latest but I was still running into the same issue.
Now that I check the site it seems that everything is okay. I thought I was clearing my browser cache but apparently not.

Hi Roger (?)
I have a problem with Current nav color showing in non-active page.
See the image below:
http://www.hintcollective.com/navproblem.jpgThe page on the image is "About", but "Music..." nav color is activated.
What could be causing this?Appreciate your advice.
ThanksPosted 2 years ago # -
looking at your website, hmmm...tested with a similar setup, but nope. will investigate further what can cause this.
btw, it might be better to turn off the "show popularity rank in posts" in the popularity plugin settings.

Thanks, will look forward to your response!
And yes, turned it off, thanks!Posted 1 year ago # -
still a bit of mystery this issue. I can't recreate this, so it's hard to fix it. You can use the elimination method to find the cause (stop whenever the problem is gone):
1. Remove the about widget. Could be that one.
2. Remove the rest of the widgets.
3. Add more pages, to see if the same happens.
4. Rename the about page.
5. Create a new about page with the same content and add it to the navigation.
6. Deactivate all plugins.
7. Change the custom field category on the "Music for Adults" blog post page.
8. Remove the content of the "Music for Adults" page.Posted 1 year ago # -
I have the same problem. Also running WP 2.9.2, with the latest BigFeature. Whenever I update a page, it disappears from the navigation. I'm running the BFWide child theme.
Dragging the page back to the navigation works, but is somewhat elaborate ;-)

I already have the latest version of the theme. :(

My navigation is disappearing from my site when I try to change the name in the pages editor. For example, I want to use the Frontpage2 template for my About page--so I dragged it down into my navigation bar in the Theme Editor, then went back to the Pages editor and tried to change the name from 'Frontpage2' to 'About' and it disappears. I'm working locally right now, otherwise I'd send you a link. What could be the problem? I downloaded the theme yesterday, so I am supposing this is the latest theme.
