I seem to have come across a bit of a bug. When I enable dropdown menus for Categories I seem to get doubles. All the categories are listed including the sub-categories in the initial list, however the sub-categories are also listed in the sub-list they're childed from.

Additionally is there a way to hide some categories from being displayed in this list? I fiddled with the Category Visibility plugin but it didn't seem to affect anything related to the navigation menus.

The only solution I've come up for this is to make pages for each category and sub-category, however then the main menu item also has to link somewhere, and I'd rather it just be a drop downlist, not a link as well.

this is not a bug. The categories item lists all categories (no need to add this one, just an extra functionality added by request). Other categories added also lists their children. Works the same with pages.

You can redirect pages with the custom field redirect plugin. Redirect the top item with a # value and it will be disabled.

Is there a way to stop all of them from being listed? I want the top level categories to be listed off, with their child categories childed. Not listed twice, it seems redundant that way.

Thanks for the tip on using '#' I didn't even think of that, that fixes the problem with using pages instead of categories.

how are they listed twice? If you add a top level category it will list all it's children, if you add another it will list all it's children, they do not have the same children.

It appears like this if I use the entire Categories menu. "Reviews" should also be under the "Anime" category.

Thanks! Yeah I should have just taken one from the start but it didn't occur to me at the time.
