Hi,
For my embedded vids, I previously used the javascript hack to determine the user's browser and display the correct version of the vid for iphone/ipad visitors.
Vimeo has just released a new universal player which is device independent.
The problem is that it is iframe based. I have installed the embed iframe wordpress plugin and can get the embed code to work fine on my posts but not for the slider vid.
Is there a way to get the new embed code to work in the slider?

I suspect this will become standard due to html5
I would really love it if this plugin could be used to work for featured videos the same the same way pro player does.

Hi -
Just checking to see if there has been any change for the video embed code?
This time, I'm using Brightcove for the video. Brightcove uses javascript for html5 video embed.
The javascript embed works fine on my posts but not when I try to display the video in the slider via the 'Big Feature Post Settings; Video' field.

re iframe - my bad. I must have just looked at the bug fixes. Sorry I missed that very quick enhancement.
re javascript - any chance of allowing javascript for the embed? Brightcove uses javascript for HTML5.
If there is a separate place to post feature requests, let me know.

you can add javascript or other shortcodes to the "Feature HTML" field. make sure to upload a default post image for video preview then since no video image will be automatically fetched for thumbnail posts (and the blog frontpage).
I have plans to implement some html5 video solution for version 1.4.1. I looked into making proplayer html5 compatible since JW Player now have implemented this, but feel this is the plugin creator's task. I might integrate other plugins though. Like the Projekktor plugin suggested by malady or this one. Suggestions are welcome.
