Hi again.

Thanks again for this excellent theme!
My only problem now is speed, my site is dead slow. I know that you recommend certain cache plugins and so on, but I suspect that I might have another problem. When using the net profiler in Firebug, I can see that most of the time when requesting the site is spent waiting?!

I notice that other showcase sites using BF are not as slow. Also I have tried 2 different servers but with the same result. My primary server have safe mode on, does that effect the performance?

Is there some way to streamline the theme installation, and use just the most important features. Or what can I do to speed up my theme apart from using plugins?

Hi torstah,

My suggestion is the hosting you are using, you should try media temple they really good, i use to have a similar issue w/ one of my site but since i upgraded my hosting service my site run super fast.

If you use caching it will speed up though. The waiting is mostly php execution, and can be slow on some servers.
