I'm finally getting started with the portfolio section of a site. It is a rather large portfolio that needs to be broken into different categories. I'm assuming this would be best done with distinct portfolio pages, but I'd love to hear ideas if anyone has some. Thanks!

adminportfolio category with the portfolio sections as children, with matching page structure using the categories (with the thumbnails template for the parent and portfolio for the children). Add the parent page to the navigation...
The parent page can also be a static designed page with links to the portfolio sections. It is also possible to use the bfthumbs shortcode to link to pages by using the redirection plugin...just some ideas.
