Hi vfxdude,
Is it posible to create a slider of the latest posts from a couple of named categories?
for example -
I have 5 'News' categories that i update frequently.
I would like to display the newest post from each "News" category on the frontpage slider.
Any help gratefully received.

the category slider can only show posts from one category, or the children of a parent category, so the closest you can get to this is to make a parent to news categories and use that in the slider. It will show the newest posts from all the categories, but not one from each. The only way to do that is to create a slidernews category and manually add/remove posts to it.
