Remove image linking on Slider?

I've setup multiple slide shows using the slider shortcode (category based) and I would like to disable the individual page linking that occurs if you click on an image. I've looked in both shortcodes.php and theme-fuctions.php and haven't been able to disable it. Any help would be appreciated.

You can remove the link from the bfslider_func function in theme-functions.php, but why don't you want to link to the article you are advertising? setup page slides instead if you want to customize it like that.
