I'm trying to remove the "Comments are Closed" text at the end of my posts and can't figure out where to do so. I don't want my posts to look like a blog. I'm only using posts (instead of pages) because of all the integration on other pages (especially Frontpages).

My other question, which could be a bug, is that since I'm not using posts in the blog sense, I want to turn off all meta information. I am unable to select none of the "Meta Information" checkboxes in the General tab of the Theme Settings. I found a way around my problem by selecting "Tags at bottom of articles" since I'm not using tags. Is this a bug or normal for any WordPress installation?
