Repeating Background Image

Hey I'm trying to customize the css and wanted to use a repeating background image instead of a color. I changed the css in the main css file and it didn't change anything.

So would the option to change that be the optionstylesphp?

I'm just trying to customize this theme to me and was having a problem figuring out what I needed to do to change the option

And is that under the css in the main index or the optionstyles.php?

in style.css, but preferable in a child theme (ok, I'm repeating myself).

And to repeat once more ... I prefer to use the Topart child theme. Thanks vfxdude.
