Separating Each Blog Posts From Content Box?

I'm working on a child theme and I'm trying to emulate this blog design: http://www.yootheme.com/blog

I want each blog post to be in it's own little box instead of having every blog post inside the content box that spans through the entire page.

This is how far I have come but now I'm stuck: http://legwears.com/

If someone could point me in the right direction I'll probably be able to figure this out by trial and error.
