Hey Vfxdude,

Thanks again for a super theme! I wonder if it's possible to do the following things:

1. Add a bfslider as a feature image using the post's gallery or nextgen.
2. Have meta for posts in certain categories and no meta in other (portfolio posts should be without date etc, only in blog)
3. Chose what meta to use in bfthumbs and move them after excerpt
4. Move the post meta above the post title
5. Excluding certain categories in the category listing widget

1. You can show nextgen images in the slider (from version 1.3.5). Demo.

2. You can use the custom single functionality. There is a portfolio example template that shows the date as only year. You can remove or customize the meta function.

3. You can customize the meta function (it's in theme-functions.php). To move it after the excerpt you must modify the bfthumbs_func function...move the meta call.

4. Move the meta call in single.php for single post pages and index.php for the blog frontpage.

5. You can use a plugin or you can code a filter yourself.

Thanks for the answers!

1. I'm using that, but I would like it to be in the spot of the feature image. Would be great if the slider was visible in the blog as well, but in a single post would be important.

I still have the problem with double headings... Example: http://www.osbeck.tv/Butzi/category/projekt/

It says Archive for Projekt Projekt.

you can use the featurepage custom field to add the slider in the place of a feature post image.

1. Create a page with the slider shortcode and note the ID of the page (it's the last number in the address field of the browser when editing the page).

2. Add the featurepage custom field with the ID as value to the post where you want the slider to appear.

Since I can't recreate the double heading problem, it kind of hard to figure out what's causing it. Only way would be to debug on you server though...

Thanks for the detailed description on how do do it. It works great, it's just that it doesn't show at the same place. As you can see here http://www.osbeck.tv/Butzi/digitalt/robinson-2009/
Where can I change the placement?

Is there an e-mail I can send login information to so you could debug the double header problem?

it shows up where the feature image should be (above the title). Where do you want it?

I had already moved the feature image to below the title, but now when adding a bfslider it shows up above everything. I guess there is somewhere I didn't change it.

Another thing, as I have made custom arrows to the slider I need to make a unique css for every slider. Is there a way to make a global css for them?

the featurepage is only for the feature image that spans over the sidebar. In single.php there's a get_image('feature') that shows the feature image, you can move that one down if you are not using feature sized images, or you can edit the get_image function (in theme-functions.php), search for featurepage and in the if statement above change feature to normal.

about styling the slider buttons, you can add classes to the buttons (and the hotspot) in custom-easyslider1.7.js (in the library/js folder).

My tiny head can't figure out how to change that .js file, so I will just stick to how I'm having it now.
