Hello,

is it possible to style a post to look just like this page

I want the post to have max width for Image on top 900x400

i do want a sidebar as well to have a size of 270.( the slider will be located under the image to the lower right side just like in the link i provided.

This is easier to do as a page as there are page templates, but when I attempt to make this as post, I can't set the main image to that size because the side bar is located on the upper right and it automatically scale the top image and all subsequent images in the post.

The link shows a post, not a page. Widgets has been added to the main sidebar, and it will show in single posts. To set the width of the default feature image, set the container width in the theme settings. The image must then be at least that width to show (to span over the sidebar), if it's 899px (if you set the container to 900px) the image will show as normal image in the content area. You can also disable the feature image size below the post editor (then the content width image will be displayed instead).

To add default images (that is shown above the post title and will resize to feature/normal/thumb) you either set it as default in the uploader (in the gallery tab), as shown in this video, or you paste an image url into the "enter an Image URL" input field below the editor (and don't insert the image into the editor).

There is also a single post template functionality available.

I'm having the same problem. I have an image that is 1024px wide, so it's definitely wide enough, and yet it's still getting resized by the sidebar, rather than being on top of the sidebar.

Ideas?
