Is it possible to have add a block of text on top of the feature image or the thumb images?
A good example of what I'm trying to do would be http://omg.yahoo.com/
I found a tutorial on how to add text block to images here:

I just don't know how to get that to work on the post thumbs.
Is this something that you could active via Custom Fields?
