Hello,
I am having a problem with my thumbnails.
1. No images are showing
2. On the home page the three featured posts which are stacking vertically. I would like them to display horizontally below the slider. How do I fix this?

Please advise on how to address this problem.

first off, you have to use the no sidebar template.
how do you add the images? Since you have set the width of the feature image (and containter) to 864px the thumbnail images have to be at least 261px wide to show. However, there is no need to add exact sized images. You can add a 1000px wide image as default and it will be resized to the right thumbnail size.
