Sorry if this has been asked before, but I haven't been able to find the answer...
I'm wondering if bfthumbs can be used with pages, rather than posts. I'd like to highlight a few blocks in the same way that pages are loaded into bfslider. Is this possible?
Here's the code I'm trying to use, but it doesn't work:

[bfthumbs name="homepage-blocks" type="page" showposts="4" width="196" numcols="4" marginright="20" text="false" title="false" popup="true"]
