Top post "WIN PASSES TO BAMBOOZLE ROADSHOW!" is not showing the big feature image.
I uploaded the image and entered the URL in the field just like I have every time for months and months. No matter what I do, it won't show.
Why!?

Why!?
something is up with the optionstyles.php, it loads so slowly. I recommend to enable this theme setting: "Cache the settings stylesheet (use css file instead of php)", to cache the styles to file instead of using optionstyles.php.
Could be some server problem, since this is happening at the same time as the feature image not showing up. I can take a closer look at it if you email me a wp user (use the contact form here).
What exactly should I email you?
wordpress username and password (create a new admin user that you can delete afterwards).
Not sure, how to contact you on there... the support ticket thing? Does that go right to you?
Sent.
THANK YOU!
I would update, but I'm afraid of losing all the changes I've made to the theme/files.
SHIT! I deleted the temp admin user, and now the whole site seems screwed!
oh that's right, when deleting the user the image got deleted too. That's the error message. btw, this error message does not mess up the site in newer versions of the theme though, it just doesn't show the image.
I don't get it. I re-saved the image various ways from Photoshop, renamed it, uploaded it many times.
No matter what i do this image will not show. What the hell is going on here!? I have never once had this issue, and I'm doing things exactly as I always have.
try a different image then. save it to another hard drive.
I have seen this before, the file header of the image gets corrupt, and it displays right in most browser when accessing it directly (not IE though).
If this happens to all your images uploaded, I would try to upload from another computer, it can be a problem with the hard drive, virus or something spooky.
I just re-saved the image and uploaded it from another Mac.
Same result.
FINALLY!
Opening and re-saving it with Preview of all things, and then re-uploading seems to have worked. Why? I would love to know.
I re-saved it with "save for web" in photoshop and it worked...
